A foggy, frosty morning.

 She got a new ball (hopefully this one can withstand the cold) - her favourite game is pushing a ball in the snow then digging to find it (sometimes she needs help).

Here she is as a tiny puppy playing the same game.

 High winds on our morning walk - lots of blowing snow.

 A new weaving project (made a mistake at the beginning and all this had to be un-woven! Back on track now).

Some big snow drifts (to the left you can just see the top of a pick up truck buried in the snow).

The snow in the back yard is quite deep.

 

 More snow and high winds overnight, but things calmed down by the afternoon.

Gray Partridges at the feeder (a flock of five, usually there is a flock of three around).

 

 Warmer temperatures, so we are back to our morning walks.

While I was weaving on a new project,

snow was being cleared outside. I was glad to be inside where it is warm!

 

We were surprised to see a helicopter during the blizzard today.

 A good life!

 The hens are holding up well with all the cold temperatures (-30ºC outside, -20ºC inside the grain bin, and closer to 0ºC inside their cabin where there is heat, their nesting boxes and more perches).

GingerSnap! didn't seem too impressed to be licked by Molly.

 Coyote tracks in the fresh snow (Molly had to sniff in just about every foot print).

 Shovelling snow is one of Molly's favourite activities.

GingerSnap! surprised me when I was winding a new warp for weaving (the green threads).

We scared a flock a Grey Partridges on our walk (I had stopped to take a picture of the sky because it reminded me of a weaving pattern).
