The hydroponic tomatoes in the basement have a new LED light and are doing really well (the last light gave off too much heat).

Two months of rain and the garden hasn't had a chance to dry up, but I'm relieved that we managed to plant the garlic for next year today (this is the saddest the garden has ever looked going into winter, oh well).

Molly is our son's dog, he has been working away from home for a few days and Molly really misses him. Today she went and got a pair of his socks and brought it to her bed.

Hard to believe it is the first of October and we still have shorts and t-shirt weather! 27ÂșC today. The photo is from our evening walk - two days at this corner we ran into a skunk (saw the tail pop out of the long grass and turn, we all turned and ran!), every time we all think we will see it again.
