The end of a photo a day for a year. It seems like yesterday that I decided to give it a try, and I am surprised that I managed it. I think I forgot about it two days, and one day I didn't click on the confirm button until the next day, but otherwise it worked out well.

My hope for this year was to make at least one complete "me-made" outfit, and I had fun sewing quite a few clothes. The outfit I am wearing in the photo today is some things I made this year, down to the bra and panties - complete me-made!

I discovered that having pets is very handy for daily photos, and that people enjoy seeing our girls.

We take Molly for a walk every morning at 7:30, and I always tried to take a photo on the walk, somedays it would be the only new photo, so this past year there were a lot of sunrise photos.

For me it is nice to have a record of a year.

Thanks for tagging along, and all the best for the next year!♥︎

A bit of cloud cover made for a dark morning walk - I guess we were used to the moon light.

With all the freezing and thawing this year the pond hasn't frozen nicely. Today they flooded it hoping to have a skating rink (usually we are skating by this time of the year).

A Christmas present on the door step from Miss Maggie - an ermine (we have never seen one before).

Thursday, 21 December 2023

Poor Miss Molly cut her carpal pad (at least she didn't have to go to the vet).

Strong winds yesterday started creating drifts on our walking path.

Miss Maggie was waiting by the road when we came home,
We had a slow escort all the way down the driveway,
Not a care in the world.

Sunrise this morning. Our son made a spider sculpture out of an old propane tank and other bits of metal a few years ago.

Maggie sleeping in her box under our bed (I wish she did this at night).

Two types of hydroponic peppers, doing well in the basement.

What a difference a day makes - the snow is back (early morning pictures and the day was quite dark, so interesting colours).

Friday, 8 December 2023

Miss Maggie is very good at letting me know exactly what she wants.

Thursday, 7 December 2023

Miss Maggie spends a lot of time watching the birds from this spot, so I put up some Christmas decorations for her.

Wednesday, 6 December 2023

The snow is almost all gone. Molly is still enjoying vole hunting.

Tuesday, 5 December 2023

It was dark enough that the Christmas lights were still on when we went for our morning walk - frosty lights (this is a 'tree' made with rebar wrapped with lights).

Monday, 4 December 2023

Miss Maggie with dirty feet waiting to come inside.
Miss Molly. Such beautiful frost today.

While knitting Miss Maggie took over my knitting basket - she has her own basket near by, lined with a little quilt, but I guess preferred this one with yarn labels and knitting needles on the bottom.

Saturday, 2 December 2023

Miss Maggie is the most tolerant cat, she puts up with Molly sniffing her all over.

Friday, 1 December 2023

Molly didn't see the two voles hiding in the log.
Maggie had better luck hunting. There are so many voles this year!
