The red onions from two days ago out of the freeze dryer - seven 1L jars (took about 40 hours and 4L of water drained from the freeze dryer). The jars have had the air removed and will keep for a long time. This is the third batch of onions and there is one more to go, then I won't have to peel and chop another onion until next summer.

 Geese in the field across the road (Canada Geese and white Snow Geese) - this was a soybean field this year.

 The wild asparagus has turned a beautiful gold colour.

 Miss Maggie found a new bed since I cleaned out all the plant pots.

 We saw so many large flocks of geese today.

A large flock of Gulls took off from this field as we drove by (Canada Geese in the field too).

 Molly hasn't been too happy about all the activity around today - they are still harvesting the field of corn and the hopper has been driving back and forth filling up grain trucks on the highway.

 They have started harvesting the field of corn around our home.
